Desiree Martinez, a senior at San Diego State University, has joined Heying & Associates as an intern account coordinator.
Martinez will assist with several of the firm’s marketing and public relations clients, including law firms and educational clients. Her responsibilities will include research, writing articles, pitch letters, news releases, and assistance with special event coordinating.
Desiree will graduate from SDSU (Go Aztecs!) in May 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, and a minor in Marketing. Prior to joining Heying & Associates, Desiree worked in social media marketing and as an event coordinator for Avon. She currently works in a leadership position in sales and has accrued over 10 years of experience in customer service.
Martinez is passionate about communication and how useful it is within our day-to-day lives. In her free time, she enjoys trying different types of food, going to the beach, and traveling. Desiree is excited to be a part of the Heying & Associates team, as she hopes to earn her career in public relations.
